Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Cozy Audio handles when you visit cozyaudio.net or use MorphTone. Cozy Audio is operated by Illia Koshovyi, Kyiv, Ukraine, who is the data controller for the data described here. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect and why

• Purchases. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number. Paddle shares with us your name, email address, country and order details so we can issue your license and support you.
• License activation. When you activate, the plugin sends your license key and an anonymous identifier of the computer to our license server, so we can enforce the two-computer limit. We store the key, that identifier and the activation date.
• Email. We email you your license key and receipts-related messages. If you write to support, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
• Free trial. When you request the trial we store your email address, your computer's system (Windows or macOS, detected by the page) and the date, and email you the download links. We send you product news only if you tick the box for it, and you can ask us to stop or delete your address at any time by writing to [email protected].
• Website. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.
• Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are viewed and whether the trial or checkout was opened. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes data such as an online identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser details. Visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland are only measured with cookies after they click Allow in the cookie notice; you can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies. See Google's privacy policy.

What we do not collect

MorphTone processes audio on your computer. Your recordings and reference songs are never uploaded to us. The plugin contains no advertising or usage tracking.

Who we share data with

Only the service providers we need to run the business: Paddle (payments), our hosting and license-server provider (Cloudflare), our email delivery provider (Resend), and Google (website analytics). We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

License and order records are kept for as long as the license is valid and as required for accounting. Support emails are kept for up to three years. Trial sign-ups are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Write to [email protected]. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
