Borrow the vocal tone of any song.
Drop a finished track into MorphTone. It finds the vocal, reads its tonal balance, and shapes your take to sit the same way. You get one knob that sets how far it goes.
VST3 and AU. Windows and macOS. Works offline after activation.
0% is your take untouched.
Three moves, and the third one is optional.
Drop in a reference
Any full mix works. You do not need an a cappella or a stem, and there is no second app to run first.
MorphTone reads the vocal
It separates the singer from the rest of the track on your machine and measures how that voice is balanced from lows to air.
Turn the knob
The plugin applies a matching EQ curve to your vocal. Leave it where it lands, or back it off until it sounds like you again.
Same take, before and after.
Demo 1
Demo 2
A fast, repeatable starting tone.
- Hearing your voice in the right ballpark on a demo, minutes after recording.
- Rescuing a take recorded on a dull or boxy mic in an untreated room.
- Skipping the first twenty minutes of EQ on every new vocal.
- Learning what a finished vocal is balanced like, by ear and by curve.
It shapes tone. It does not replace a mix.
- It does not clone a voice or make you sound like another singer.
- It does not compress, de-ess, tune or add reverb.
- The match is a fixed EQ curve, so problems that come and go, such as a harsh note here and there, still need your usual tools.

Before you ask.
Do I need the a cappella of the reference song?
No. Give MorphTone the full song and it isolates the vocal itself.
Is this legal to use with commercial songs?
The plugin only measures the tonal balance of the reference. Nothing from that recording ends up in your audio.
Does it work on rap, spoken word or backing vocals?
Yes, anything voice-led. Pick a reference with a similar kind of voice and delivery for the most useful result.
Where does it go in my chain?
First on the vocal track, before compression. Treat the result as your corrective EQ and mix on from there.
How do refunds work?
Ask within 14 days of purchase and you get your money back. See the refund policy.
Who makes this?
